http://www.interviewnewyork.com/ is a registered non profit website/ interactive public art project. We want to interview everyone in New York City (and have the project expand to other cities if successful) with the same three questions: What are you proud of? What are you afraid of? What gives you hope? The videos will be user generated, except for the first thousand (or so) shot by our volunteer team to seed the website. The videos will be tagged by geography (neighborhood within the 5 buroughs) as well as whatever the poster decides to tag them with. New York City is a wonderfully diverse city where often just a few blocks or a subway stop can change the world you know. The inspiration for Interview New York is to engage people to speak for themselves, telling personal stories in an interesting and genuine way, in a safe fun environment.
